Bearing the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, the world expo 2020 was scheduled on October 2020, in Dubai. Having known about the COVID-19, it is now rescheduled to the 1st of October 2021 to the 31st Of March 2022. This will still be hosted by Dubai, this is the first big world expo to happen in the regions of Middle East, Africa and South Asia. This expo is bringing people together amidst the global pandemic. 192 countries are taking part in this expo 2020. Though this is going to be held in the year 2021, the name once for all remains the same.

Revolving around the theme

It is planned to be held in the 1083-acre site located near Dubai’s southern border with Abu Dhabi. It is enclosed by three districts, representing the themes Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability , along with the main theme, ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.’ Sustainability brings in light, Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor, a well renowned entrepreneur and a philanthropist who strongly supports sustainable projects and notions for a better place to live in.
